Mobile Images now offers sleep studies in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.  The sleep study machine, ARES, is a wireless device worn on the forehead by the patient while they sleep in their own bed for one night.  A Mobile Images technologist will leave the ARES Sleep Study Machine with the patient’s nurse along with simple directions and return to pick it up the following day.  Sleep studies are interpreted by a physician who is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine.  Sleep studies are covered by Medicare and most major insurance plans.
